Departments help your website visitors to be connected with the right Team.
If your company has multiple teams - you can setup Departments and split the call volume between them.
To setup Departments, follow these steps:
- Select products & settings from the left menu bar.
- Click websites on the submenu
- Select website that you want to edit and select the representatives tab.
- Click departments button and enter the department name and assign representative(s)
- Click save when done.
Tip: You can always come back and add or delete more options, by following the same steps.
Most common department names:
- Sales
- Support
- Billing
After you set up your departments enable them to display on Widget under Widget Settings / Main Settings
After you enable departments to show, they will become visible on your Widget.
