Departments help your website visitors to be connected with the right Team. 

If your company has multiple teams - you can setup Departments and split the call volume between them. 

To setup Departments, follow these steps:

  1. Select products & settings from the left menu bar.
  2. Click websites on the submenu
  3. Select website that you want to edit and select the representatives tab.
  4. Click departments button and enter the department name and assign representative(s)
  5. Click save when done.

Tip: You can always come back and add or delete more options, by following the same steps.

Most common department names:

  • Sales
  • Support
  • Billing

After you set up your departments enable them to display on Widget under Widget Settings / Main Settings

After you enable departments to show, they will become visible on your Widget.
